I have placed some explanatory photos below that, hopefully, will help you along in your Italian culinary adventure. Sometimes a picture really helps!... ;-)

This is almost all the stuff you will need to make the Stuffed Peppers. I forgot to put the garlic in the photo.
This is the rice cooker I use to make my rice. Does such a nice job! The rice never comes out sticky and this thing is so easy to use! I highly recommend you get one.
Such a lovely day for making stuffed peppers. Here I am leisurely cutting off the tops of the peppers.. Life is good!
As I was cutting the tops off my peppers I saw our friendly rabbit that has been showing up all summer. We call him Sir Lancelot the brave because he's not afraid of our cat ;-) If you look closely you can see him there in the grass.
So what you want to do is carefully cut off the pepper tops so you have nice hats to put back on the pepper after you have them stuffed.
After you cut around the edges, you will need to cut a little deeper towards the center to get the top completely off.
Once the top is off, you need to cut off the thick part of the pepper just below the top. Cut as close as you can to the underside of the pepper top so you have more room for filling once you put the top back on.
You will then want to cut out as much of the inside pepper that you can without creating any holes in the skin.. These will be bowls for your filling so you want them to be pretty and you want as much room on the inside that you can get for the filling.
You will have to pull out some of the pepper guts by hand as you can see here..
After you are done cleaning out the pepper in preparation for the filling, you will need to wash the peppers again.
Wash them out well.
After they are all washed and clean and ready for stuffing, place them in a large baking pan with about 3/4" of water on the bottom.
Then place the tops on to make sure you have a nice fit and they look good. These peppers look great and are ready to be stuffed!!
This is the meat pan, in this pan, you will add olive oil, ground chuck, onions, red peppers, salt and pepper and will mix well while your browning the meat.
